Growth Funding of SMEs from startup to pre-IPO
SMEs need funds from startup to pre-IPO to fuel rapid growth. Mr Tan Soon Liang, an experienced private equity investor and corporate advisor specialising in entrepreneurial finance in growing companies, will share his practical knowledge in preparing funding SMEs at various stages of their growth.

Mr Tan has extensive experience in the banking and finance industry, particularly in the field of private equity, venture capital, coporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, strategy advisory and corporate development
He is currently Managing Director and Founder of TI Investment Holdings Pte Ltd and Tl Ventures Pte Ltd which are both private equity and corporate advisory firm respectively, focusing on investing and partnering with entrepreneurial companies across Asia to enhance enterprise value. He is also a co-founder and Managing Director of an entrepreneurial finance and venture capital firm called Omnibridge Capital Pte Ltd and Omnibridge Investments Ltd respectively. Amongst his notable portfolio of clients, he is a corporate advisor to Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd since 2010 heading Corporate Planning and Development at Wah Loon Engineering Pte Ltd, a leading M&E engineering company ranked number 1 at 2011 Enterprise 50 Award.
Mr Tan was instrumental in the Pre-IPO advisory and eventual preparation for the IPO listing of JLJ Holdings Ltd (now known as Jubilee Industries Holdings Pte Ltd) on Catalist Board of the SGX-ST in July 2009 amids the global financial crisis. He was also instrumental to the Pre-IPO advisory of Ajisen (China) Holdings Ltd which eventually listed on Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 2007 and IPO listing of China Steel Australia Limited on ASX and the full tradesale of Wang Café Pte Ltd to NTUC Foodfare Co-operative Ltd in 2010.
Mr Tan graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business (Second Class Honours) Degree majoring in Financial Analysis and holds a Master of Business Adminstration Degree from the University of Hull, United Kingdom. He is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Instittue and Singapore Institute of Directors.
